TimeLine is made by Vireo, in Falköping, Sweden. You can delete your account and the data attached to it at any time. There is no waiting period and nothing to ask us for first.
In the app
- Open Settings.
- Under Account, choose Delete account.
- Type DELETE.
On the web you can go straight to your settings.
By email
If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email support@aver-web.se from the address on the account. We delete it within 30 days, as GDPR Article 17 requires, and confirm when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your profile — email, display name, username, avatar and country
- Every puzzle result and score you have recorded
- Badges you have earned
- Push notification tokens and reminder settings
- Shared results and share links
- Leaderboard entries
- Multiplayer games you created, and your rows in games you joined
- Event suggestions you submitted
- Feedback you sent us
- Your sign-in credentials
Deletion is immediate and permanent. We cannot restore an account afterwards, and there is no backup copy we keep for you.
What is kept, and why
- Payment records: Bokföringslagen (1999:1078) 7 kap. 2 § requires transaction records to be kept until the end of the seventh year after the calendar year in which the financial year closed. These are held by Stripe and Google Play, and are not linked to a profile once the account is gone.
- Anonymous analytics: Aggregate counts that contain no identifier and cannot be traced back to you.
Cancelling a subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it where you bought it — in Google Play for the Android app, or through the billing portal for a web subscription — otherwise it keeps renewing.
